"I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions, including those signed by Sleepy Joe Biden's Autopen, and remove anyone who is not a net asset to the United States, or is incapable of loving our Country, end all Federal benefits and subsidies to noncitizens of our Country, denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization," he said.
Earlier, Trump denounced the shooting of two National Guard soldiers near the White House and described the act as terror and a crime against humanity. Briefing the media, Trump said that the suspect in custody is a foreigner who came from Afghanistan on a 2021 airlift and called the country a "hellhole".
"This was a heinous assault and an act of evil, an act of hatred and an act of terror. It was a crime against our entire nation. It was a crime against humanity," he said.
Trump confirmed the suspect is in custody, who is from Afghanistan.
On Thursday, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that, with immediate effect, all immigration processing related to Afghan nationals has been halted indefinitely.
