Tej Pratap Yadav, BJP MP Ravi Kishan’s Airport Meeting Sparks Political Buzz Amid Bihar Polls
A surprise encounter between Janshakti Janata Dal (JJD) founder Tej Pratap Yadav and BJP MP Ravi Kishan at Patna Airport on Friday stirred political chatter amid the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections.
The two leaders, seen chatting as they exited the terminal, drew attention from journalists who speculated whether the meeting between the former RJD leader, once a fierce critic of the BJP and RSS, and the Gorakhpur MP hinted at a possible political realignment.
Both had returned from hectic campaign trails. Yadav, who was expelled from the RJD by his father and party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, had been canvassing for his party's candidates in Gaya, while Kishan had addressed rallies in East and West Champaran.
When asked about their meeting, Tej Pratap brushed off the speculation, saying, “It's the first time I've met Ravi Kishan. We both share devotion to Lord Shiva and wear the tika with pride."
Pressed on whether he could consider aligning with the BJP, the Hasanpur MLA—now contesting from Mahua, offered a cryptic reply: “I will stand with anyone who works to end unemployment."
As reporters continued to press the issue, Ravi Kishan intervened, praising Yadav, saying, “It's his heart that earns him people's admiration."
He added, hinting at possible openness, “Anything can happen. The BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi keep their doors open for all devotees of Lord Bholenath who serve selflessly, not for personal gain."

When questioned about whether Tej Pratap had been treated unfairly by his former party following his expulsion over personal matters, Kishan dodged the query, saying, “Please don't ask such questions during election time. The people of Bihar are wise enough to see what's right and wrong," before walking away.
The brief but high-profile exchange has added a fresh twist to Bihar's political landscape, fuelling speculation about whether the estranged RJD leader may be eyeing a new political home.
