Tata Punch EV Facelift India Launch Today – Check Expected Price, Range And Features

The Tata Punch EV facelift will be launched in India today with new design elements, new features and the possibility of a bigger battery pack that could enhance its range and performance. This is important for Indian car buyers because the Punch EV is a contender in the highly popular sub-Rs 15 lakh electric SUV segment, where it competes with other models such as the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen eC3. This upgrade will help it remain a strong contender in this segment by upgrading its technology and usability features without increasing its size.
Tata Punch EV Facelift: Design Details
The current model of Tata Punch EV comes with two battery options: 25 kWh and 35 kWh, with a range of 265 km and 365 km, respectively. These models are expected to continue in the new model as well. Apart from this, the new Punch EV model is also expected to have the same 45 kWh battery model as in the Nexon EV model, which is expected to offer better range and power performance. As per a recent video shared by the brand on its social media handle, the EV can travel over 590 km in a single charge.
Tata Punch EV Facelift Rear Badge
For the Punch EV facelift, Tata Motors has opted for an incremental design approach instead of a complete overhaul of the design. The front part of the Punch EV facelift gets a new contoured bumper with cleaner design language, a larger lower air intake and larger headlamp units with dark trim. The previous full-width DRL strip has been removed, but the slim DRLs and the charging port in the middle remain the same.
Tata Motors has not revealed the details of the interior of the Punch EV facelift, but if there are any changes to the interior, they are expected to be minimal. The current interior design is expected to remain the same, but the higher variants may get an upgrade with a 12.3-inch infotainment display. The current features like connected car, wireless phone charging, 360-degree camera, 10.25-inch digital display, ambient lighting and ventilated front seats are expected to remain the same
New Tata Punch EV Charging
The current Punch EV lineup is approximately Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 14.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model will see a slight price bump, especially for variants that receive additional features.
