Suicide attack near Afghan border kills 7 Pakistani soldiers: Officials

A suicide attack near the Afghanistan border has claimed the lives of seven Pakistani soldiers. The incident occurred at a military camp in North Waziristan. Thirteen others were injured in the assault. A vehicle laden with explosives was rammed into the camp's boundary wall. Two other militants were shot dead while attempting to enter the facility.
PESHAWAR: Seven Pak soldiers were killed in a suicide attack near the Afghanistan border on Friday, Pakistani security officials said, as a temporary truce that paused days of intense fighting ended without any word on its extension.
The seven soldiers were killed in an attack by militants on a Pakistani military camp in north Waziristan, which also left 13 injured, security officials said.
While one militant rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the boundary wall of a fort that served as a military camp, two others tried to get into the facility and were shot dead, they said.
