At the Mumbai premiere of The Ba**ds of Bollywood on September 17, 2025, stand-up comedian Samay Raina caught everyone's attention — not just for his presence, but for his choice of attire. Raina arrived in a plain black T-shirt with a bold statement: “Say no to cruise."
The message instantly raised eyebrows, with many interpreting it as a subtle reference to Aryan Khan's high-profile arrest in October 2021, when the Narcotics Control Bureau raided a party aboard the Cordelia Empress cruise ship. Aryan, along with several others, had been detained in connection with the alleged party where drugs were reportedly seized.

Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the drugs-on-cruise case. His arrest became one of the most high-profile cases of the year, sparking massive media attention and public debate. After spending nearly a month in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail, Aryan was granted bail by the Bombay High Court. In 2022, the NCB gave him a clean chit, stating there was no evidence of drug possession or conspiracy against him, bringing closure to a case that had dominated headlines and stirred nationwide discussions.
Adding to the buzz, a photo from the premiere, now going viral on Instagram, shows Samay standing right next to Aryan Khan, positioned in the middle, with Suhana Khan and Aryan's cousin Arjun Chhiba also visible. The photo sparked a flurry of reactions online — Suhana Khan reacted with a laughing emoji on her brother's post mentioning Arjun, while Arbaaz Merchant, one of the co-accused in the cruise case, also reacted to it.
