Shraddha Kapoor To Star Opposite Aamir Khan In Ashneer Grover’s Biopic? Deets Inside
Reports suggest that Aamir Khan is set to headline a biopic based on Ashneer Grover’s life, and Shraddha Kapoor has reportedly been roped in as the female lead opposite him.
It was in 2025 when Aamir Khan made his first on-screen appearance with his film Sitaare Zameen Par, and a recent update suggested that the actor is now looking forward to headlining Ashneer Grover’s biopic. With Aamir reportedly on board, reports around the female lead of the film have started coming in. As per a recent update, Shraddha Kapoor will be starring opposite Aamir Khan as the lead.
As per Mid-Day, Shraddha Kapoor playing the lead in Ashneer Grover’s biopic was finalised quite early. “It was decided early on that Shraddha would play the female lead. She has seen the screenplay develop up close,” an insider shared with the portal.
Meanwhile, a source informed Bollywood Hungama about Aamir coming on board. The source shared, “Aamir has read it and loved it; he is doing this film. It’s in the pre-production stage. It’s also very relatable as Ashneer is an extremely popular figure with today’s audience.”
The movie will reportedly be directed by Shraddha Kapoor’s rumoured beau and the writer of Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, who will be directing and producing this film. However, there’s no official confirmation on the same. Aamir is yet to announce the project.

Ashneer Grover, who gained widespread popularity as a Shark on the first season of Shark Tank India, already has an autobiography. The book is titled Doglapan: The Hard Truth about Life and Start-Ups. In the past, he had himself confirmed that the movie about him is in the works. About Aamir and Shraddha’s work front
Aamir is reportedly working on a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke and has reunited with Rajkumar Hirani for the project. Reports further suggest that shooting has already begun, putting to rest rumours about the film being on hold.
Meanwhile, as per reports, Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in Eetha, a biopic inspired by the life of Maharashtra’s celebrated Tamasha performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar. After this, she will begin shooting for Naagin. As per Mid-Day, Shraddha will finish Eetha shooting in March this year, and in April, she will begin shooting for Naagin.
