A simple ticket-checking moment has turned into one of the internet's latest obsessions. A short Instagram reel featuring a bearded ticket collector (TC) inside an AC train compartment, probably a Vande Bharat, has gone viral, prompting netizens to hunt for him online.
The clip, set to Arijit Singh's soulful track “Akhiyaan Milavanga" from Commando 3, shows the TC walking through the aisle, checking tickets, while a woman sits across from him. Overlaid text reads: “Haaye, agar aisa TC ho to daily train se travel karu."
This simple sentiment captured the mood of viewers who were instantly smitten.

The reel has sparked a flurry of comments, blending humour, admiration, and curiosity.
One viewer joked, “Ticket fek do khidki se fir ye tumhe pakad ke le jayega (Throw the ticket out of the window and then he'll catch you)."
Another wrote, “Sarkari naukar hai wo, bht sunder biwi milegi use, tum khwab mat dekho (He's a government employee, he'll get a very beautiful wife, don't dream about him)."

One said, “Shatabdi, Vande Bharat, Rajdhani sab mein journey karke dekh liya… Kahan hai aise TC, mujhe bhi apni aankhe sekni hain, I really don't care ki wo bhi kisika bhai aur beta hai. Others, in typical social media fashion, lamented the lack of details. “This is sooooo wrong! Posting this reel without the train number and route details—What is this behaviour."
