SBI Probationary Officer Reveals She Gets 95K In-Hand Per Month, Internet In Disbelief—'How Is That Possible?'
A woman, who is apparently working as a Probationary Officer in the State Bank of India (SBI), recently disclosed her salary on the internet, leaving many impressed and sparking yet another debate over government jobs.
The woman has shared that she qualified for the examination in 2022.
What's The Salary Of SBI Probationary Officer?
She has been a part of the SBI for the last two-and-a-half years, working as a Probationary Officer.
In a recent post, she said that her government job pays an in-hand salary of Rs 95,000. Apart from this, she also receives other perks, such as a lease rental of Rs 18,500 and Rs 11,000 in other allowances. This indicates that her in-hand salary crosses the Rs 1 lakh mark per month.
However, she clarified that she is receiving this amount after working for more than two years and getting five increments.
“Here is my pay after working as a PO for 2.5 yrs. This pay includes 5 increments on the salary of a PO (Two annual increments + Three increments of JAIIB and CAIIB)," she wrote.
The Junior Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (JAIIB) and Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) are major professional certifications for banking professionals in the country. Several of them are provided an additional salary increment after clearing the examinations.

Since being shared on Instagram, Shweta's post has received more than 1.1 million views within a few days.
In the comments section of the post, several users praised her. One person wrote, “95K in hand per month? For SBI PO? My friend is a PO and he regularly cried that it's not that much. How? Are there different scales of pay for PO?"
Another added, “For becoming SBI PO, you need to be intelligent and smart as well (study-wise)… With that, you need to do hard work. I have given so many attempts, so i know it."
