Days after the new Epstein files suggested that philanthropist Bill Gates had contracted an STD after having sex with Russian girls, the Microsoft co-founder denied the allegations in his first press interview since the bombshell claims in the new document dump.
In an interview with Nine News on Wednesday, Gates spoke publicly about the allegations against him in the Epstein files, saying the e-mail by sex offender Jeffrey Epstein claiming that the billionaire had contracted a sexually transmitted disease was false.
The files claimed that Jeffrey Epstein wrote emails, revealing that Bill Gates contracted a sexually transmitted disease from sex with “Russian girls" and asked for antibiotics to give to his then-wife, Melinda, secretly.

“Jeffrey wrote an email to himself, that email was never sent. The email is, you know, false. So I don't know what his thinking was there," he told Nine News. “It just reminds me, you know, every minute I spent with regret and I, you know, apologise that I did that."
His remarks came after his ex-wife Melinda French Gates said Bill had to answer questions about the STD allegations in Epstein's email, calling the disclosures “beyond heartbreaking". She noted that reading about the victims brought back memories of her own daughters at similar ages.
When asked about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Gates said, “I regret every minute I spent with him. It's factually true that I was only at dinners. You know, I never went to the island. I never met any women."
“The more that comes out, the more clear it will be that although the time was a mistake, it had nothing to do with that kind of behaviour," he added.
What Did The Epstein Files Say?
Two e-mails from July 18, 2013, sent from Epstein's account were disclosed. One was written as a resignation letter from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and talked about having had to procure medicine for Gates “in order to deal with the consequences of sex with Russian girls".
Epstein wrote that he was “dismayed beyond comprehension" and claiming that Gates' former adviser, Boris Nikolic, had been drawn into actions described as “ethically questionable or potentially illegal," including helping Gates obtain drugs and facilitating meetings with other women.
The billionaire issued a strong denial after these reports went public. A spokesperson for Gates said, “These claims – from a proven, disgruntled liar – are absolutely absurd and completely false."
“The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein's frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame," the spokesperson said.
Gates has previously acknowledged knowing Epstein but has consistently denied any wrongdoing. He has expressed regret over the association after learning more about Epstein's criminal history.
The latest allegations are part of three million pages of records related to Epstein that were disclosed by the US Justice Department on Friday, along with thousands of videos and photographs, tied to Epstein and his contacts with wealthy and influential figures.
