Mahit fired a superb 456.0 in the 45-shot final, pulling away from South Korea's Dain Jeong (453.5) and Hungary's Mira Zsuzsanna Biatovszki (438.6).
But the medals were only part of the story — Mahit also smashed the Deaf Qualification World Record and the Deaflympics record, topping qualification with a stunning 585-31x, eclipsing her own previous world mark of 576.
Her series — 194 in kneeling, 198 in prone, 193 in standing — left the field chasing shadows. India's Natasha Joshi also reached the final, finishing fifth after qualifying seventh with 566-12x.
In the final, Mahit controlled the match from the outset through kneeling, prone and the first standing series. A rare 9.4 on shot 41 briefly opened the door for Jeong, but the Indian ace shut it instantly, drilling four consecutive 10s to clinch gold with ice-cold precision.
