Soon after, the ‘Liger' actor's team confirmed the news of their engagement, revealing that they are planning a February 2026 wedding. Now, days after their engagement, Rashmika Mandanna was seen flaunting a stunning diamond ring, subtly confirming the news. So far, neither Rashmika nor Vijay Deverakonda has officially shared any photos from their special day. In her latest Instagram reel, the ‘Thamma' actress is seen sporting a dazzling ring on her left hand, and needless to say, fans went into a frenzy!
Rashmika Mandanna Flaunts Her Engagement Ring
On Friday, Rashmika Mandanna took to her Instagram to share a video with her furry friend Aura. She is seen playing with her pet dog, while the recently released song Rahein Na Rahein Hum from her film Thamma plays in the background. While her caption and post was mainly about the song, eagle-eyed fans noticed the actress' huge, sparkling diamond ring on her left hand. Reacting to the same, one netizen commented, “@rashmika_mandanna Finally we caught the ring!!!" while another one wrote, “Confirmm," along with a ring emoji. A third comment read, “The whole video is to show us the engagement ring," while another netizen commented, “This ring is everything and more!" Check out the video below!
In her caption, Rashmika wrote about the song Rahein Na Rahein Hum from the film Thamma, starring her alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. “This was the first song I heard from the film while shooting, and still… I'm in LOVE with this songgg Also can we talk about Aura vibing with meee? Imagine she knew that the girl on the screen is me.. she would be so confused! I wish she could talk ya! or rather sing this song," she wrote.
Rashmika Mandanna And Vijay Deverakonda's Engagement
Rashmika and Vijay got engaged in a hush-hush ceremony at the latter's Hyderabad residence on Friday, October 3. A close aide of Vijay told Hyderabad Times, “The families of Vijay and Rashmika had decided on the auspicious date. The event was an intimate affair with only family members in attendance. The couple plans to tie the knot next year."
Meanwhile, a source close to the actress said, “The plan was to have the ceremony as soon as Rashmika returned from Italy after shooting for Cocktail 2, and it was held soon after her return. Marriage has always been on their minds, and it's now decided that the wedding will take place in 2026. Both families met and formalised things yesterday."
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have been dating for many years, however, they have remained hush-hush about their relationship. They have shared screen space in the 2018 film Geetha Govindam and 2019 film Dear Comrade.
