Rapper Lil Nas X was rushed to hospital Thursday following a suspected overdose after being bizarrely seen roaming the streets of Los Angeles in his underwear. The rapper was arrested and briefly hospitalized after an altercation with police in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to authorities in Los Angeles.
Officers found the 26-year-old rapper and singer walking on the normally busy Ventura Boulevard in the Studio City neighborhood shortly before 6am, according to a police spokesperson, Charles Miller. According to a footage obtained by TMZ, Lil Nas X wearing only underwear and cowboy boots and claiming he was going to a party.
The footage purportedly showed him wearing only underwear and cowboy boots, placing a traffic cone on his head, and acting incoherently. When cops arrived at the scene, he charged at officers and was taken into custody before being transported to the hospital for evaluation of a possible overdose.

What happened with rapper Lil Nas X?
A witness claimed they heard Lil Nas X talking about a party at around 4am on Thursday morning. "Don't be late to the party," he told a driver. Lil Nas X was asked about the location of the supposed shindig, to which he replied "You know where it's at." He then urged the driver to move away from him."Didn't I tell you to put the phone down?" Lil Nas X said. And, the singer reportedly put an orange traffic cone on his head, per TMZ.
Witnesses in Studio City reported to cops they had seen a naked man.
Cops swooped on the scene and put Lil Nas X in handcuffs before he was taken to the hospital over fears he had suffered an overdose.
Lil Nas X was arrested on suspicion of battery, as reported by the ABC affiliate KABC-TV. He was being held in Van Nuys' Valley Jail.

According to the police, upon their arrival, the individual “charged at officers” and was subsequently taken into custody. He was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation amid concerns of a possible drug overdose.
While the Los Angeles Police Department did not name the rapper directly, they confirmed that an incoherent, nude man was taken into custody and hospitalized around 5:50 a.m., the same time and location Lil Nas X was captured on video, according to footage obtained by TMZ.
