Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa welcome a baby girl on their 4th wedding anniversary, overjoyed as they embrace parenthood.

New Delhi: Bollywood star couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa recently shared heartwarming news, welcoming a baby girl on their 4th wedding anniversary.

The duo took to Instagram to share the news, writing, “We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl, blessed parents Patralekhaa and Rajkummar.” They captioned the post, “The greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary.” Actress Kriti Sanon commented, “Congratulations guysss,” joining fans in congratulating the couple.

The couple had announced their pregnancy on July 9 through a pastel-themed Instagram post. The announcement featured a soft floral wreath and a cradle with the words “Baby on the way” along with their names. Rajkummar had captioned the post simply, “Elated.”

Rajkummar has often shared that he knew Patralekhaa was the one from the moment he first saw her in an advertisement. The two began dating in 2010 and later worked together in the film CityLights (2014), which marked Patralekhaa's Bollywood debut. After 11 years of dating, the couple tied the knot on November 15, 2021, in an intimate ceremony in Chandigarh.

On the work front, Rajkummar recently completed shooting for his upcoming film Nikam, a biopic on India's celebrated public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam. Sharing a handwritten note on Instagram, the actor expressed deep gratitude, calling it “a privilege” to portray the character with calm, honesty, and grace. Further details about the film are yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar is also busy as a producer. A few months ago, he and Patralekhaa launched their own production house, KAMPA Film. The name KAMPA combines the initials of their mothers' names, paying tribute to them.
