Q3 results: Railway-linked MIC Electronics announces quarterly earnings – check PAT, revenue
MIC Electronics Share Price: MIC Electronics, a smallcap company which primarily serves to Indian Railways, has announced its results for the third quarter of current financial year (Q3 FY26). The company said that its consolidated net profit stood at Rs 1.88 crore in the quarter, down 14 per cent from Rs 2.16 crore profit posted in the same quarter of the last fiscal (Q3 FY25).
The company's revenue from operation stood, however, jumped manifold to Rs 90.22 crore in the reporting quarter compared with Rs 11.74 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
The total expenses came in higher at Rs 88.49 crore in the quarter under review, a regulatory filing by the company showed.
Segment-wis revenue: The company said that its LED products segment reported a topline of Rs 12.63 crore while the Electrical & Electronics, Spare parts segment clocked a revenue of Rs 77.59 crore.
MIC Electronics, founded in 1988, is engaged in designing, development, and manufacturing of light-emitting diode (LED) video displays and lighting products. It mainly serves to Indian Railways.
MIC Electronics shares closed 4.6 per cent lower at Rs 40.72 on BSE during Sunday's special trading session (Feb 1) which was conducted by exchanges on account of Budget presentation for FY2026-27.
Last week, MIC Electronics had secured a fresh order worth Rs 114.10 crore. In an exchange filing, MIC Electronics had said that it has received a Letter of Acceptance from Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran, Raipur for Designing, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Testing, Commissioning, AMC and Operation & Maintenance of Infrastructure works at common facility centre in sector 22 Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, Raipur. The order will be executed within a period of 10 months. The scope of work includes annual maintenance contracts (AMC) and long-term operations support, suggesting a multi-year revenue stream beyond the initial construction phase.
Earlier in November 2024, the company had set up a subsidiary (MICK Digital India Limited) as part of its expansion strategy.
According to BSE analytics, MIC Electronics shares have underperformed the markets in the last one year. The smallcap stock has corrected 48 per cent in one year while the BSE Sensex index has climbed 4 per cent in the same period. The counter has yielded a moderate return of 5 per cent in two years.However, the counter has yielded impressive returns in the long run. The scrip has delivered a multibagger return of more than 225 per cent in three years. It has sprinted over 3,800 per cent in five years, resulting in wealth gain for investors.
