Navratri, the nine-day festival celebrating the strength and resilience of Goddess Durga, is being observed with full energy across the globe. Amid the festivities, a woman from Amritsar, Punjab, is being hailed online as a real-life Durga. Wondering why? A video, going viral again on the internet, shows the woman fearlessly confronting a robbery attempt.
The now-viral video shows a woman standing firmly and preventing three robbers from attempting to break into her home. Seemingly alerted by the CCTV cameras installed both inside and outside the house, she reacted swiftly and used her body weight to stop the men trying to force their way inside.
Showing no hesitation, she slammed the door and shouted for help. As the video proceeds, she secures the door by wedging it shut with a sofa. Towards the end, she is heard screaming and calling someone for help.

Unable to gain access to the house after several attempts, the thieves, who covered their faces with cloth, gave up and left the house. The now-viral video was originally from October 2024.
