Pune Man Protests Using Donkeys To Pull Faulty Thar To Showroom, Video Goes Viral

Tired of the consistent issues with his newly bought Thar, a man in Pune decided to pull his vehicle to the dealer's showroom. The man protested outside Sahyadri Motors, demanding that the dealer resolve the persistent issues.

A video of the incident, which is now circulating widely online, shows two donkeys tied to the vehicle and pulling it along the road. Two men walk beside them, beating snare drums, while others help by pushing the car from behind.

The owner, Ganesh Sangde, said that from the time he bought the Thar, it developed several problems, including water leakage and unusually loud engine noise.

He said he had approached the dealer multiple times, but nothing changed. As a result, he covered the SUV with posters criticising the dealer in Marathi and staged the protest by pulling the vehicle to the showroom with the donkeys.

Ghost-Themed Protest In Vasai

In another similar incident, residents of Vasai walked to the Ward Committee office of the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation dressed as ghosts protesting against the installation of play and exercise equipment inside the Benapatti Hindu cemetery.

Wearing white sheets and makeup, the protestors mockingly thanked civic officials for “taking care of the ghosts" and even offered them flowers. They said the decision to place swings and fitness structures in a cemetery made no sense and showed disrespect for the space.

Locals expressed anger over the corporation's move, questioning why a burial ground was being turned into a recreational zone. They demanded that the equipment be removed and the cemetery restored to its original purpose.
