One small act of kindness at night has captured the Internet's heart, and rightfully so. A video emerged online showing a Rapido driver helping a foreign woman safely reach her hotel late at night in Mumbai. It all reportedly happened at around 10 PM when the woman got lost after Google Maps failed and found herself alone and unsure of where to go.
The clip was shared on X with the caption, “At 10 PM, a foreign woman got lost, alone and terrified after Google Maps failed. With no one around, Rapido rider Sindhu Kumari stopped, reassured her, and safely dropped her at Hotel Coconut, turning fear into relief. Salute to this brave Indian woman rider."
In the video, the foreign woman is visibly shaken as she hugs and thanks the rider for helping her reach her hotel safely. The Rapido driver later introduces herself as Sindhu Kumari and explains that she found the woman near the beach, confused and panicked. Instead of riding past, she chose to stop.

The Rapido driver reassured the woman, stayed with her and personally dropped her at Hotel Coconut, making sure she reached safely. The moment, captured on camera, has struck a chord with viewers across the country. Social media quickly flooded with praise. One line echoed repeatedly in the comments, “India needs more female drivers."
Reacting to the clip, one user wrote, “This is the real India. So proud of Bharatiya nari and Rapido."
Another commented, “We need more female riders all over the world, to be honest."
Someone else added, “Hats off to Sindhu Kumari ji. Not everyone would stop at 10 PM to help a stranger. True humanity."
