Spirit: Prabhas To Take A Long Break After Hyderabad Schedule? Here's What We Know

Prabhas has been shooting back-to-back for different projects. His film Spirit has also gone on floors. Amid this, a report claims that he is reportedly planning to take a long break after completing the first schedule of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial. The much-anticipated project has already generated massive hype among fans.

According to 123 Telugu, Prabhas is planning to take a long break after wrapping Hyderabad schedule. On November 23, the film went on floors. The beginning of the shoot was celebrated with a traditional muhurat puja, and megastar Chiranjeevi joined as the special guest of honour. Headlined by the powerhouse Prabhas, this epic film is the next big move from the hit-making duo, producer Bhushan Kumar and blockbuster director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Adding to the excitement is the talented Triptii Dimri, who creates a fresh new pair with Prabhas. After setting the screen on fire in Animal, Triptii continues her creative journey with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Bhushan Kumar, and Pranay Reddy Vanga. The team came together for the muhurat puja as the first shooting schedule commenced.

Ranbir Kapoor To Have A Cameo In Prabhas' Spirit

A report claiming Ranbir Kapoor will appear in the Prabhas-starrer in a special cameo. The film opened its first schedule with a star-packed traditional launch, attended by megastar Chiranjeevi as chief guest. Photos from the ceremony showed the director and cast seeking blessings before rolling the camera on one of the most talked-about projects of the year.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Ranbir Kapoor — who headlined Vanga's blockbuster Animal — will appear at a crucial juncture in Spirit. The report describes his cameo as a narrative turning point and a moment that will be “historic" because Ranbir and Prabhas have never shared screen space before.

A source told the publication, “Ranbir will come into the picture at a crucial juncture of the storytelling. It will be a turning point in the plot and a historic moment in Indian cinema since he has never shared screen space with Prabhas." The possibility of two top stars coming together under Vanga's direction has already sent fan circles into overdrive.

Prabhas absent, but still present

Although Prabhas did not attend the muhurat, Vanga shared a photo of the actor holding the clapboard, writing, “Dear fans… I thought PRABHAS anna's hands were enough to EXCITE YOU ALL…… So on this muhurath day, I'm posting this for you — with gratitude and love. SPIRIT."

Deepika Padukone's exit still a talking point

Spirit has been in the headlines for months, especially after Deepika Padukone backed out of the project — reportedly over disagreement regarding an eight-hour workday. She later also stepped away from Kalki 2898 AD 2, another film led by Prabhas.
