PM Kisan 21st Instalment Released: How To Check If You Have Received The Rs 2,000 Tranche?
PM Kisan Yojana Samman Niddhi Scheme: In order to benefit farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday released the latest 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme worth Rs 18,000 crore to over nine crore farmers in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Under PM Kisan, eligible farmers receive Rs 2,000 every four months, adding up to Rs 6,000 a year, directly into their bank accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
PM Modi also inaugurated the South India Natural Farming Summit in Coimbatore.
PM Modi had released the previous 20th installment in August, benefitting over 9.8 crore farmers, including 2.4 crore female farmers.
In the previous 20 installments, PM Modi released a total of over Rs 3,90,000 crore.
After the release of the PM Kisan 21st installment, crores of farmers are now checking whether the money has been credited to their bank accounts. If you are a beneficiary and want to confirm whether the latest installment has reached you, here are the ways to check:
1. Check Installment Status on the PM-Kisan Website
The official PM-Kisan portal provides a real-time update on your payment status.
Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in
Click on ‘Know Your Status' on the homepage.
Enter your Aadhaar number, PM-Kisan ID, or registered mobile number.
Enter the captcha and click ‘Get Status'.
You will be able to see whether the 21st installment has been credited, the date of transfer, and your beneficiary status.
2. Use the PM-Kisan Mobile App
Farmers who prefer mobile access can check using the official app.
Install the PM-KISAN mobile app from the Google Play Store.
Open the app and select “Beneficiary Status".
Enter your Aadhaar or mobile number.
The app will show the status of all previously credited installments, including the latest one.
3. Check Your Bank Account or SMS Alerts
The installment is credited directly to your bank account linked with PM-Kisan.
Farmers usually receive an SMS from their bank confirming the credit.
If you didn't receive an SMS:
Visit your bank's nearest branch
Update your passbook
Or check your balance on mobile banking / micro ATM / AePS services through your Aadhaar-linked fingerprint scan
4. Contact Your Local Agriculture Office or CSC
If your installment shows as ‘pending', ‘on hold', or ‘rejected', officials at:
The local agriculture department office, or
The nearest Common Service Centre (CSC)
can help you check what went wrong—usually issues related to Aadhaar mismatch, bank account seeding, or incomplete e-KYC.
5. Ensure Your e-KYC Is Completed
Many farmers miss their installments because Aadhaar e-KYC is incomplete.
You can complete it either:
Online on pmkisan.gov.in, or
At a CSC for biometric e-KYC.
This is mandatory for receiving future installments.
It is important to note that PM Kisan 21st installment of over Rs 710 crore was already released to 35 lakh farmers in four flood-affected states earlier.
Who Is Eligible To Receive The PM Kisan 21st Installment?
All landholding farmers' families that have cultivable landholding in their names are eligible to get benefits under the PM Kisan scheme. However, there is an exclusion criterion also.
