IPOs This Week: After a brief lull, the primary market is set to buzz again as five new initial public offerings (IPOs) hit the market this week to raise nearly Rs 9,500 crore. With this, the total IPO fundraising in October is poised to cross Rs 45,000 crore, marking one of the busiest months of the year for equity markets. So far this month, 10 IPOs, including seven mainboard issues worth Rs 35,791 crore, have already concluded, led by heavyweights like Tata Capital and LG Electronics.

Orkla India IPO (October 29-31)

Norway's Orkla Group-backed Orkla India, known for its popular food brands such as MTR Foods, Eastern Condiments, and Rasoi Magic, will open its IPO for subscription from October 29 to 31. The Bengaluru-based company has set a price band of Rs 695-730 per share and seeks a valuation of around Rs 10,000 crore.

The Rs 1,667.5-crore issue will be entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) of 2.28 crore shares by promoter Orkla Asia Pacific and public shareholders Navas Meeran and Feroz Meeran. Since it is a pure OFS, the proceeds will go to the selling shareholders and not the company.

Studds Accessories IPO (October 30-November 3)

Helmet manufacturer Studds Accessories will open its IPO for subscription between October 30 and November 3. The company, which is among India's leading two-wheeler helmet and accessories makers, is coming out with a complete offer-for-sale of 77.86 lakh shares by promoters and existing shareholders.

While the IPO seeks to raise Rs 455.49 crore. Its price band has been fixed at Rs 557 to Rs 585 per share. The proceeds from the sale will go directly to the selling shareholders. The issue follows the company's consistent performance in the protective gear segment and growing export potential.

Lenskart Solutions IPO (October 31-November 4)

Eyewear retailer Lenskart Solutions, one of India's most recognisable consumer brands, will launch its IPO between October 31 and November 4. The issue will comprise a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 2,150 crore and an offer-for-sale of 12.75 crore equity shares by promoters and investors.

The IPO size is Rs 7,278 crore, with the price band being fixed in the range of Rs 382 to Rs 402 per share. The Rs 402 price is the same level at which Radhakishan Damani recently bought a 0.13% stake in the company. At that price, the company's valuation would stand at about Rs 72,719 crore.

Jayesh Logistics IPO (October 27-29)

Among the SME listings, Jayesh Logistics will be the first to open for bidding this week, launching its IPO on October 27 and closing on October 29. The logistics solutions provider aims to raise Rs 28.63 crore through a fresh issue of 23.47 lakh shares, priced between Rs 116 and Rs 122 per share.

The company, valued at slightly over Rs 100 crore, plans to utilise the proceeds for purchasing side wall trailers, working capital, phase 2 of its Smart Logistics Application, and general corporate purposes.

Game Changers Texfab IPO (October 28-30)

The second SME issue, Game Changers Texfab, which supplies fabrics to garment manufacturers, designers, and export houses, will open its IPO from October 28 to 30. The Rs 55-crore issue will be a pure fresh issue of 53.76 lakh shares with a price band of Rs 96-102 per share.

The New Delhi-based company plans to deploy the funds towards capital expenditure, working capital, and general corporate needs, as it looks to expand its manufacturing capabilities and strengthen its supply chain.

With these five offerings joining the fray, the number of IPOs in October will rise to 15, taking the total fundraising beyond Rs 45,000 crore. The month has already witnessed major issues like Tata Capital (Rs 15,512 crore) and LG Electronics (Rs 11,607 crore), making it one of the most active months in the IPO market this year.
