OnePlus is gearing up to expand its flagship lineup in 2026 with a new smartphone the OnePlus 15T. While the company has not officially confirmed the device, multiple leaks are confirming the specifications of the device and its launch timeline. OnePlus 15T is gearing to appeal to those seeking a powerful yet relatively compact premium smartphone.
According to a trusted tip from Chinese social platform Weibo, the OnePlus 15T is expected to launch in mid-to-late March 2026. This launch is quite earlier, since the OnePlus 13T was launched quite late in 2025 cycle.
In India, some reports suggest the phone could be rebranded as the OnePlus 15s to align with local naming conventions. Since the OnePlus 13 series compact device was also named OnePlus 13s.
Several leak reports strongly indicate that the 15T will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This is the same flagship processor that powers the standard OnePlus 15.
This is a significant upgrade for the “T” variant, which previously might have used slightly lower-tier chipsets in the past generations. Moreover, a powerful chipset combined with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and fast UFS 4.1 storage configurations suggests OnePlus is stressing about performance.
According to the leaked details a 6.31-inch to 6.32-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate can be expected. OnePlus is promising smooth visuals ideal for gaming and media consumption. Moreover, slim bezels and a flat panel design should make the 15T easier to handle than larger flagships, appealing to users who prefer more pocket-friendly devices.
Physically, the phone is expected to feature a metal frame, IP68 water and dust resistance, and rounded corners. These are features that keep it in direct competition with premium designed smartphones seen in the broader OnePlus lineup.
One of the leaks centres on the battery which is tipped to be in the 7000 mAh to 7500 mAh range with support for 90 W to 100 W fast charging, and possibly even wireless charging. That would place the 15T among the longest-lasting OnePlus phones yet, at least on paper.
On the camera front, early rumours suggest a dual 50 MP rear camera setup (main + telephoto) with a high-resolution selfie shooter, although details remain uncertain. This kind of setup could bridge the gap between flagship-level specs and a slightly more affordable price point.
The OnePlus 15T is tipped to launch in the first half of 2026, with the base variant in India expected to be priced between Rs 59,999 and Rs 70,000, while higher-end models could go up to Rs 75,000, in line with the flagship OnePlus 15's pricing trend.
While the OnePlus 15T remains unannounced officially, the accumulating leaks suggest a device positioned as a compact yet powerful flagship. It will be a device that brings the best of OnePlus's 2025 silicon and battery technology in a more approachable form factor.
Individuals can expect the launch just a couple of months away. Therefore we'll likely hear more soon about the device as retailers and OnePlus itself begin showing the new model.
