NTPC Recruitment 2026 Begins For Manager And Engineer Posts; Salary Up To Rs 2,40,000
The National Thermal Power Corporation or NTPC Limited has released a job notification for B.Tech holders in Chemical Engineering. The organisation has begun the recruitment drive for eight Senior Manager and Engineer roles in the Green Chemicals sector, which includes projects like methanol, urea, ammonia, ethanol, SAF, and petrochemicals.
The online application process commenced on March 2, 2026, and will conclude on March 16, 2026. Applications must be submitted via the official website, careers.ntpc.co.in, before the deadline.

Senior Manager (E6 Grade)
Qualification: Full-time BE or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
Experience: A minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience, including commissioning and operating methanol, urea, ammonia, ethanol, SAF, petrochemical, or chemical process plants.
Age Limit: Maximum 47 years as of the last date of application.
Engineer (E2 Grade)
Qualification: Full-time BE or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with at least 60% marks.
Experience: At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant chemical or refinery/petrochemical plant. Experience in DCS or control desk operations is a plus.
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as of the last date of application.
The initial screening will be based on qualifications and experience, which may be followed by a written exam or computer-based test, personal interview, and finally, a medical examination and document verification before the final selection.
The application fee is Rs 300 for General, OBC, and EWS categories. SC, ST, PwBD, and female candidates are exempt from the fee. All payments must be made online.
