New Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classics 2026 launched in India: Check price, features, dimensions and more
Bajaj Auto has rolled out a new update for the Pulsar 150, introducing subtle design and feature enhancements while leaving its mechanical setup untouched. The popular street motorcycle continues to share the same underpinnings as the existing variants and preserves its familiar silhouette and sporty appeal. However, the latest update brings functional and cosmetic improvements aimed at boosting practicality and keeping the model competitive. Notably, the Pulsar 150 now gets an LED headlamp along with LED turn indicators, improving visibility across varied riding conditions.
Bajaj Auto has refreshed one of its most iconic motorcycles, the Pulsar 150, amid speculation of a major revamp planned for the Pulsar Classic range in the second half of 2026. The updated Pulsar 150 range is priced from Rs. 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), continuing to position the model as an affordable option in the entry-level sporty motorcycle segment, according to a report in Hindustan Times Auto. Prices for the line-up start with the Pulsar 150 SD at Rs. 1,08,772, followed by the Pulsar 150 SD UG at Rs. 1,11,669, while the top-spec Pulsar 150 TD UG is priced at Rs. 1,15,481 (all ex-showroom, Delhi).
In terms of styling, the Pulsar 150 retains its signature muscular stance and familiar proportions. Bajaj has freshened things up with new colour options and updated graphics, lending the motorcycle a more contemporary appeal. The most notable functional upgrade is the addition of an LED headlamp along with LED turn indicators, which not only enhance visibility but also add a modern touch to the overall design.
Powering the Pulsar 150 is the proven 149.5 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that develops 13.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 13.25 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Braking hardware includes a 260 mm front disc and a rear drum setup with single-channel ABS, while suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers.
Underpinned by a double-cradle frame, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 tips the scales at 148 kg (kerb) and features a seat height of 785 mm, ground clearance of 165 mm, and a 15-litre fuel tank. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, shod with tubeless tyres measuring 80/100 at the front and 100/90 at the rear. In terms of dimensions, the Pulsar 150 measures 2,055 mm in length, 765 mm in width, and 1,060 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,320 mm.
Mechanically, the Pulsar 150 remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the tried-and-tested 149.5 cc air-cooled engine that delivers 13.8 bhp and 13.25 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The hardware setup stays conventional, with telescopic front forks and dual rear springs supporting the 17-inch alloy wheels.
Although the Pulsar 150 has been around for years, Bajaj Auto has kept it relevant with timely updates, driven by steady demand and consistent sales in select Indian markets. The motorcycle continues to appeal to buyers seeking the iconic Pulsar badge in an affordable, sporty, and straightforward package.
