The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for NEET UG 2026. Candidates can apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduate courses through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
According to the official notice, NEET (UG) 2026 scores will be used for admission to undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions across India. The entrance test will also be applicable for BDS and BVSc & AH courses, along with AYUSH programmes including BAMS, BUMS and BSMS. It will further be used for admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homeopathy.
Aspirants seeking admission to the Military Nursing Service (MNS) BSc Nursing courses conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service hospitals will also have to qualify NEET (UG). The score will be considered for selection to the four-year BSc Nursing programme.

Application correction window: March 10 to March 12, 2026
The NEET UG 2026 exam will be held on May 3, 2026, from 2 pm to 5 pm in pen-and-paper mode. The exam duration will be three hours. Details regarding the city intimation slip, admit card release and result date will be announced later.
The examination will be conducted in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Odia, among others.

Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 1,700 for General category candidates, Rs 1,600 for General-EWS and OBC-NCL candidates, and Rs 1,000 for SC, ST, PwBD and third gender candidates. The fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking. Additional processing charges and GST may be applicable as per the bank or payment gateway.
