Samantha Ruth Prabhu's wedding to filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1, 2025, has become one of the most talked-about events in the South entertainment industry. The actress, who was earlier married to Naga Chaitanya, tied the knot with Raj in a deeply spiritual Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The ritual, known for its emphasis on purification and energy alignment, made the intimate wedding stand out among recent celebrity ceremonies.

Raj Nidimoru, celebrated for helming projects such as The Family Man and Go Goa Gone, was previously married to Shhyamali De, who worked as an assistant director on acclaimed films including Rang De Basanti and Omkara.

Just hours after news of Samantha and Raj's marriage broke, Naga Chaitanya took to Instagram and posted a message that quickly went viral. The actor marked the second anniversary of his Amazon Prime Video series Dhootha, which premiered on December 1, 2023.

Sharing a still from the supernatural thriller, Chaitanya wrote, “Dhootha is a show that proved that if as an actor you make a choice based in creativity and honesty and you give it your best shot… people will connect. They will receive and give you back that energy. Thank you! 2 years of dhootha! Love to the team that made this happen."

Directed by Vikram Kumar, Dhootha featured an ensemble cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Prachi Desai, Anish Kuruvilla, Tharun Bhascker, Tanikella Bharani, Rohini, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Pasupathy. The show, originally in Telugu and later dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, earned strong reviews for its atmospheric storytelling. Its success led to a renewal for Season 2 in June 2024.

Naga Chaitanya, son of superstar Nagarjuna and grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, has also moved forward in his personal life. The actor married Made in Heaven star Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024, in an intimate ceremony held at Hyderabad's iconic Annapurna Studios.

Chaitanya and Samantha, once one of South cinema's most loved couples, shared the screen in films like Ye Maaya Chesave, Manam, Autonagar Surya, and Majili. Their journeys have taken separate paths, but both continue to remain prominent names in Indian entertainment.
