A video from a Mumbai railway station has gone viral after a woman shared her encounter with a man who, she says, kept staring at her and made obscene gestures. She initially tried to ignore him, but he persisted. Even when she began recording him from across the platform, he continued to stare and wave at her. The woman eventually walked up to him and confronted him directly.
In her video, she can be heard asking the man why he was behaving that way and reminding him that his actions were being recorded. He attempted to deny everything, but she warned him that she had the proof on camera. She then slapped him, prompting an immediate apology. Since the clip began circulating online, many viewers have praised the woman for standing up for herself.
‘This Man Had Been Staring At Me'
In the clip, the woman says, “This man sitting here had been staring at me for 5–10 minutes and making dirty gestures. At first, I tried to ignore him, but he kept calling out to me and making the same dirty gestures from that platform to this one. I thought if I switched on the camera, he might stop, but the moment I did that, he started acting even worse."
The video posted on X (formerly Twitter) was posted with a caption, “A guy was making obscene gestures at a girl at a railway station in Mumbai. The courageous girl recorded the scene and gave him two tight slaps."
