Pakistan has offered to facilitate peace talks aimed at ending the ongoing war, an initiative that was publicly amplified by US President Donald Trump on social media, according to the report.

Pakistan also has direct strategic interests in preventing the conflict from expanding, Reuters reported, noting concerns that instability could spill across its border with Iran and affect domestic security conditions.

While diplomatic efforts advance, military deployments indicate that the conflict remains active.
AFP reported that the United States is planning to deploy thousands of troops from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East to support ongoing operations linked to the war.
