Man’s Furious Audio Clip To Boss Leaves Internet Laughing: ‘I Quit, You Keep Your Promotion’
An audio clip of an employee angrily confronting his manager has caught the attention of social media users, many of whom said they could relate to the frustration in his voice. The man is heard complaining about long working hours, workplace pressure and a promotion that allegedly came with unexpected conditions.
The clip appears to feature the employee lashing out after reportedly learning that he would need to relocate to another city for the promotion he had been waiting for. According to the audio, the condition was never mentioned earlier despite him working extra hours for months.
Employee Loses Temper In Audio Clip
In the recording, the man can be heard speaking loudly to a person named Naresh, who he claims kept promising him a promotion while making him work late into the night.
“Hi Naresh. Last full year when I was working hard and proving myself for this promotion, at that time you never mentioned that I will eventually have to relocate to a new city," he says in the audio.
The employee further claims he often worked till 3 AM and 4 AM while handling a heavy workload. “You burdened me with work, and I used to work till 3 AM, 4 AM in the morning. You were sleeping like a sleeping beauty. Buffalo," he says angrily.
Towards the end of the message, the man says he is ready to live in cities like Mumbai, Pune or Bengaluru, but refuses to continue in what he describes as a toxic work environment. “I can work from any city, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, doesn’t matter, but I can’t work with toxicity, so I quit. You keep your promotion," he says before ending the audio.
The clip was shared online with the caption, “I can live in any city except."

Internet Reacts To The Rant
The audio later triggered a flood of reactions online. While several users said they understood the employee’s anger, others wondered whether the clip was scripted.
Many people also joked about the employee’s dramatic delivery, while others said the clip reflected the pressure many workers silently deal with in corporate jobs.
A user wrote, “We are all separated by locations, but united by Toxicity." Another commented, “Sleeping beauty and buffalo in a same line? And he justified as well. Nice wordplay bro."
“Promotion is not related to work," one person wrote. Another user said, “siina me thandak padd gaya."
