A video showing a Mahindra Thar seemingly crashing straight into a massive highway exit signboard has taken social media by storm and the internet is having an absolute field day. The clip shows a Thar lodged high up in an overhead board that reads “Delhi, Gurugram, Jaipur, Exit 22, NH-48." At first glance, it looks dramatic. On second glance, it looks impossible. And on third glance? It looks like AI might have had some fun.
As the video spread across X and Instagram, users quickly began questioning its authenticity. The idea that an SUV could launch itself high enough to get stuck in a signboard and just stay there felt more like a video game glitch than a real accident. That’s when the jokes began pouring in.

Another wrote, “Didn’t know there was a take off button in Thar." The sarcasm didn’t stop there. The user pointed out, “AI has gone crazy, look at the signboard beside NH-48." Clearly, the Internet wasn’t ready to accept that SUVs had suddenly developed wings.

Some users even attempted a mini fact-check in the comments. One detailed breakdown read: “Use common sense and a bit of analytical skill to dissect AI and reality. It’s tough though." The users highlighted the details that hint at the video being AI-generated.

Others kept it simple and savage. “If someone thinks this is Real, I have a Bridge to sell you.." wrote one user. Another added, “Thars don’t ride, they fly, once a friend told me, today we all can see it." That’s how the comment section quickly transformed into a comedy club.

Given the unusual nature of the incident, several social media users questioned the authenticity of the video, highlighting visual contradictions and the lack of reliable sources confirming the incident. Whether AI-generated or heavily edited, one thing is clear: the clip has successfully entertained the internet.
