A shocking case has surfaced from Telangana's Karimnagar, where a woman allegedly killed her husband with the help of her lover and his friend. What makes the crime even more disturbing is that the woman reportedly learnt the method of killing by watching a YouTube video.
According to a report in Free Press Journal, police have taken the woman, her lover and his friend into custody.
Alcohol, Frequent Quarrels Led To An Illicit Relationship
As per the report, the deceased, identified as Sampath, worked as a cleaner in a library. He was married to Ramadevi, and the couple had two children. Sampath was addicted to alcohol and often argued with his wife after drinking. To support her family, Ramadevi used to run a small snack shop.
It was at this shop that she met 50-year-old Karan Rajayya. Over time, the two reportedly entered into an illicit relationship. Police claim that Ramadevi eventually decided she wanted to get rid of her husband.
Murder Plan Learnt Through YouTube Video
In order to remove her husband from her life, Ramadevi searched online for ways to kill someone and came across a YouTube video. The video explained a method which involved pouring pesticide into a person's ear. She allegedly shared this plan with her lover, Rajayya.
Both of them, along with Rajayya's friend Srinivas, then made a plan to murder Sampath.
How Did They Execute The Crime?
On the night of the murder, Rajayya and Srinivas called Sampath to meet them near the Bommakal flyover. They offered him alcohol. After drinking, Sampath lost his senses and fell asleep after being intoxicated.
It was then that Rajayya allegedly poured pesticide into Sampath's ear. Police said he died on the spot. After the act, Rajayya called Ramadevi to inform her that the murder had been carried out.
Attempt To Mislead Police
The next day, Ramadevi went to the police station and filed a missing person's complaint for her husband. On August 1, Sampath's body was found. Police suspected something unusual after Ramadevi and Rajayya allegedly refused to do his postmortem.
Sampath's son also reportedly suspected foul play and requested the police to investigate further.
Investigation Reveals It All

Police began checking call records, CCTV footage and location data, which led them to Ramadevi, Rajayya and Srinivas. Upon questioning, all three allegedly confessed to the crime.
The trio has since been arrested and sent to judicial custody, as per the report.
