At just 18 years old, Yamal earned 10,167 votes from fellow professionals around the world, finishing second only to goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (13,609 votes), according to the global players' union.
The Spain and Barcelona winger breaks the record previously held by Kylian Mbappé, who was 19 when he made the 2018 team following France's World Cup triumph.
The 2025 Men's World XI is stacked with star power, including Yamal's Barcelona teammate Pedri, Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappé, who earned his sixth selection.
