Kuku FM reports 175% jump in FY25 revenue
Audio and video content platform Kuku FM reported a 175% jump in its operating revenue during fiscal 2025 – recording a second consecutive year of 100%+ growth. However, its cash burn picked up pace too.
The platform's operating revenue during fiscal year 2025 was at Rs 242 crore, up 175% from FY24, while net loss increased by 59% to Rs 153 crore, according to filings with the Registrar of Companies (ROC). Total expenses for the financial year more than doubled to Rs 411 crore.
The Krafton-backed company attributed the rise of expenses to advertising and marketing expenditure skyrocketing. For fiscal 2025, Kuku FM incurred Rs 284 crore of marketing expenses, compared to Rs 102 crore in FY24.
Bloomberg reported on December 15 that the company has appointed Kotak Mahindra Capital, Axis Bank and Morgan Stanley as merchant bankers for its public debut.
