Bobby Deol Reveals If He Overshadowed Ranbir Kapoor In Animal

When Animal hit theatres in 2023, filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga not only unleashed a darker, more primal side of Ranbir Kapoor but also resurrected Bobby Deol into cinematic glory. The film, a brutal blend of love, rage, and family dysfunction, became one of the year's biggest blockbusters — despite polarizing audiences for its depiction of violence and masculinity. Amid the storm, one thing everyone agreed on was Bobby Deol's electrifying presence as Abrar Haque — a character that, with barely 15 minutes of screen time and zero dialogues, became a nationwide obsession. When Animal hit theatres in 2023, filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga not only unleashed a darker, more primal side of Ranbir Kapoor but also resurrected Bobby Deol into cinematic glory.
