Every move — the five-knuckle shuffle, the STF, the Attitude Adjustment — brought back decades of memories, but in the end, Gunther's sleeper hold forced Cena to tap, marking the first submission of his legendary career.
The arena fell silent for a moment, the gravity of the moment sinking in. Then came the standing ovation.
Cena walked down the ramp, taking in every cheer, every handshake, every camera flash. He paused to salute the crowd, one last nod to the fans who had followed him through the highs, the comebacks, the epic battles.
“It's been a pleasure serving you all these years. Thank you," he said, and just like that, a chapter closed.
