Fans can rest easy because Mulroney's exit is not a permanent one. He will be away from the series for a bit but his return is confirmed. However, it is not exactly clear when he is coming back and whether it will be before the finale of season 14. The crossover event with Chicago Med and Chicago PD saw the first responders join forces after an entire commercial flight was killed by a deadly nerve agent that was released by accident by a drug mule who was on board. They found a link to a Chicago resident – Thomas Marr – after which Pascal teamed up with FBI Agent Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiradakos) and Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) to give backup on the high-stakes arrest.
