iPhone 17 Sale In India Starts This Week But Apple Already Facing Delays: Here’s The Reason
iPhone 17 sales in India and other regions start this week but the company is already facing a huge challenge managing the expectations and the pre-orders. The base iPhone 17 along with 17 Pro series have got a price hike in the country but that hasn't deterred people from buying the latest models from the company.
Apple is finding this happy problem now because the pre-orders seem to have gone above its expectations, hence the iPhone 17 Pro delivery dates are running as late as one month. Some might say this is an issue but Apple is unlikely to mind if its sales numbers rack up.
iPhone 17 India Sale Update: What Apple Expects
iPhone sales have picked up in the last few years and Apple has heeded to those demands by putting India in the first phase of its iPhone 17 sales. We checked the pre-ordering status of iPhone 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max variants in the country which tells you more or less the full picture about the interest around the latest models.
The regular iPhone 17 is once again seeing less pre-order demands than its premium 17 Pro models, with a delivery timeline of around one week from the sale date. While if you are getting the 17 Pro or the 17 Pro Max, the dates stretch up to October 14 which is almost a month from the sale date for the new iPhone 17 models in the country.

iPhone 17 price in India starts at Rs 82,999 this year but you also get 256GB as the base variant across all models. The iPhone 17 Pro series starts at Rs 1,34,900 while the 17 Pro Max costs Rs 1,49,900 for the base variant.
iPhone 17 will be available at Apple Stores in the country as well other third-party retailers like Vijay Sales, Imagine, where the cashback and discount offers could be more appealing than the regular stores from the company.
