Apple is planning for big changes in 2026 and the iOS 27 update is going to be a core part of that strategy. The company's first foldable is tipped to be unveiled next year, and now we are getting more hope about Apple's AI mission finally taking off with some useful tweaks.
The new report by Bloomberg says Apple will focus on making iOS 27 version less buggy and also pack more AI features into the next software version for iPhone and more devices. These new features are likely to be limited to select iPhone models, but the overall improvement should be evident to everyone.
iOS 27 Update: More AI And Better Stability
The report claims Apple has two key focus areas with the iOS 27 version and one of them is increasing its AI feature catalogue. Google and OpenAI have sped away with their own AI tools and Apple needs 2026 to be the year when it can catch up or even show its tech prowess to match these giants.
Making iOS Run Smoother
Apple has received plenty of complaints about the iOS 26 version wherein some people noticed heavy battery drain, while others saw UI glitching which is a rarity for the platform.
The company is working behind the scenes to make sure these errors don't come again, which is why the developers are already being told to make the iOS 27 update feel smoother and also help boost the overall performance.

Apple's AI features are limited and even though the Siri 2.0 AI version is tipped to launch with iOS 26.4 update early next, the company might have a few more up its sleeves for the next iOS version. The other AI additions could happen with health wherein the company might even start a premium version.
