Have you ever found yourself completely invested in the way someone narrates a story? The pauses, expressions and suspense feel like the climax is going to blow your mind. But when the ending finally comes, it completely falls flat, making you deeply disappointed. Well, something similar happened on Reddit when a man grabbed everyone's attention with what seemed like an interesting story, only for it to turn out to be nothing that the users expected.
The post showcased a heartwarming banter between the man and his mother. He revealed that once, his mother came up to him, curious about whether one of his college friends was getting married. After the man confirmed that the wedding was scheduled for next year, his mother went on to ask the girl's profession and where she was from. This led the mother to question the man about his marriage plans, to which the son shared told her that he “hates the concept of marriage".
Mom And Son's Banter Confuses Internet
The mom's befitting reply was, “Abhi deny karega shaadi se, fir thode saal me hum worry karenge fir tu apna hukum ka ikka apni GF reveal kar dega. Ye sb game hai na jo tu khel raha, ye banaye hai humne (You'll refuse to marry now, then after a few years, when we'll start worrying, you'll play your trump card by revealing your girlfriend. These games you're playing now have already been played by us)."
Since the post came with a misleading tag of “Mom said ‘The games you're playing now, are created by us'", it tricked readers into believing that the post was about a game created by the man's mother.

“Thought I would be getting to know the life of a game. And instead, this cringe," commented an individual angrily. “Mere zindagi ke 30 sec waste kar diye (wasted 30 seconds of my life)," pointed out one person. “Reading the title, I thought your mother's a game developer and you're playing games created by her," read a remark.
