India’s GST Collection Rises 6.1% YoY To Rs 1.74 Lakh Crore In December 2025

GST Collection December 2025: India's goods and services tax (GST) collections in December 2025 rose 6.1% to Rs 1,74,550 crore, compared with Rs 1,64,556 crore in December 2024, according to the latest official data released on January 1, 2026.
GST refunds were up by 30.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 28,980 crore. The gross domestic GST revenue in December 2025 grew 1.2 per cent to Rs 1.22 lakh crore, while tax from imports rose 19.7 per cent to Rs 51,977 crore.
Net GST revenue stood at Rs 1.45 lakh crore in December 2025, recording 2.2 per cent year-on-year growth.
