The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur marked its 16th Foundation Day on October 11, 2025, celebrating its journey of growth, innovation, and leadership in management education. Established in 2010, the institute has emerged as one of India's leading B-schools, known for its strong academic foundation, industry partnerships, and focus on developing future-ready leaders.The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur marked its 16th Foundation Day on October 11, 2025, celebrating its journey of growth, innovation, and leadership in management education. Established in 2010, the institute has emerged as one of India's leading B-schools, known for its strong academic foundation, industry partnerships, and focus on developing future-ready leaders.The celebration was attended by distinguished guests, including Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director of IIM Ahmedabad; Sambasivan G, CFO of Tata Play; and Rajeev Jain, Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing at DS Group. Faculty members and PhD scholars were also honoured for their contributions and academic excellence.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur marked its 16th Foundation Day on October 11, 2025, celebrating its journey of growth, innovation, and leadership in management education. Established in 2010, the institute has emerged as one of India's leading B-schools, known for its strong academic foundation, industry partnerships, and focus on developing future-ready leaders.

The celebration was attended by distinguished guests, including Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Director of IIM Ahmedabad; Sambasivan G, CFO of Tata Play; and Rajeev Jain, Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing at DS Group. Faculty members and PhD scholars were also honoured for their contributions and academic excellence.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Director-in-Charge of IIM Raipur, said, “The Foundation Day is a reminder of how far we've come and a reaffirmation of where we aspire to go. Our focus is on nurturing leaders who can navigate complexity with empathy, agility, and purpose."

Over the years, IIM Raipur has achieved several milestones, including a strong placement record for the Class of 2025, with the highest package reaching ₹43.4 lakh per annum, and the average and median packages at ₹19.7 lakh and ₹18.5 lakh, respectively. The institute is also in the final stages of securing AACSB International accreditation, aligning it with global management education standards.

Guest speakers emphasised the growing importance of technological fluency, multi-disciplinary thinking, and consumer-centric strategies in modern business leadership.

IIM Raipur plans to expand its academic offerings with new MBA and Executive MBA programmes, a Centre for Entrepreneurship, and Research & Excellence Centres.
