Hyderabad Launches Free Doorstep Diesel Delivery Service: How It Works, Who Can Avail It & Is It Risky?

Getting your car or bike refuelled isn't always as easy as it sounds. You often have to locate a nearby fuel station and then wait in long queues for your turn. Now, imagine skipping all that hassle and having fuel delivered straight to your doorstep. Sounds convenient, right? That's exactly what's happening in Hyderabad, thanks to a newly launched app offering doorstep diesel delivery.

The app, called Anytime Diesel, has already begun operations and is quickly gaining attention. It delivers diesel directly to homes and offices across Hyderabad.

Hyderabad's First Diesel Delivery App

A video about the app recently surfaced on Instagram that shows how the service works. According to the clip, Anytime Diesel is Hyderabad's first government-authorised diesel delivery app that promises to deliver fuel at “zero extra cost."

The video also mentioned that the app has already gained over 1,000 customers, including residential apartments and major companies such as Amazon, Blinkit, and Swiggy. It further claimed that the diesel supplied is of accurate quantity and 100% quality.

Social Media Divided Over Idea

As the video spread online, it sparked reactions from social media users who were both impressed and curious.

One user commented, “Interesting business model," while another called it, “Great initiative."

Someone else added, “Mast option. I wish they would start anytime petrol as well."

But others raised questions about the safety of such a service, with one person writing, “I totally disagree with this from a safety point of view. You are carrying diesel, which is highly risky. We have already seen many accidents in Hyderabad, Vizag, and other places involving oil tankers, mobile oil tankers, milk tankers, and even small milk vans carrying cans. These vehicles frequently meet with accidents."

Another agreed, saying, “I completely agree! While new innovations are exciting, safety should always be our top priority – it's not just about basic safety, but about doing things the right way."

Meanwhile, an individual with a humorous tone wrote, “Attach a fire engine truck as well."

How Does The Anytime Diesel App Works

The Anytime Diesel app functions in a way that is simple and easy to follow, similar to ordering food or groceries online.

Download And Sign Up

Users first download the app and create an account using their phone number or email ID.

Once registered, they can log in anytime to place an order.

Enter Delivery Details

The app asks for the delivery location. Users can either enter their address manually or allow GPS access so the app automatically detects their location.

Select Quantity And Timing

Customers can choose how much diesel they need (minimum – 2 litres and maximum – over 6,000 liters).

They can schedule the delivery for a specific time or choose instant delivery if a delivery truck is available nearby.

Make Payment

The app supports multiple payment methods, including debit/credit cards, UPI and digital wallets.

Users receive an invoice and confirmation once payment is completed.

Track Your Order In Real-Time

After placing the order, users can track the delivery truck live within the app.

The delivery trucks are GPS-tracked, digitally sealed and fitted with IoT sensors to ensure accuracy and prevent tampering.

The diesel is directly filled into the customer's vehicle, generator or storage tank as per their request.
