No matter what account you have, savings or current, your account statements can be easily downloaded through the bank's internet banking portal or the YONO SBI mobile banking app. The app is available on both Android and iOS, and no matter what process you use, app or internet banking, SBI will send your account statement in a password-protected PDF.

-Visit the official SBI internet banking website.
-Click on Continue to Login and sign in using your username and password.
-Once logged in, your account dashboard with banking details will appear.
-Go to Transactions and select Request Statement.
-Choose the required date range and select ‘Email' or ‘Download' to get your statement.
-Open the YONO SBI app and log in using your credentials.
-Ensure the SIM in your phone is the same one registered with your SBI account.
-Tap on Transactions under the account tile showing your account number.
-Select ‘Request Statement' and choose the duration or financial year.
-Pick the file format (PDF or Excel).
Tap Email to receive the statement in your inbox or Download to save it on your device.
You will receive your account statement in a password-protected PDF format, and sometimes it can get confusing entering the exact format the password is required in, so let's take a look. If you have downloaded the PDF using internet banking through the website, your password will be your 11-digit account number, which will also be mentioned when you open the PDF.
However, the process is a bit different if you have downloaded the statement using the YONO SBI app, although the password format will be highlighted in the manner you need to put it in, but let's break it down for you here itself.
Once you are done downloading your SBI account statement, opening it becomes quite simple. Firstly, just go to the Downloads folder on your device and tap on the statement PDF. Since the file is password-protected, a prompt will appear asking you to enter the password. Just enter the password in the format mentioned in the email you received from SBI, and you'll be able to view your bank statement without any trouble.
