A viral clip captured the incident, where a section of Indian fans could be seen dancing to the lyrics and tunes of ‘Tu Lagawelu Jab Lipstick' by famous Bhojpuri artist Pawan Singh. While the Pakistani fans sitting in this stand had no clue about the song, the Indians shook their legs unabashedly in the most hilarious sight.
Bhojpuri Beats Amid Indian Dominance At Dubai Stadium
Given that the United Arab Emirates is home to a huge diaspora of Indians and Pakistanis, the Group A contest for the Asia Cup 2025 between the two arch-rivals was bound to witness a packed crowd. The Indian fans once again outnumbered the Pakistanis in the crowd, while the DJ also provided them a familiar setting by playing Pawan Singh's Bhojpuri classic.
In the video, one could see that Singh's famous song still gets to the pulse of the fans of the Bhojpuri music, as Indian supporters sang and danced together on it between a break during India's dominant victory over Pakistan. The viral clip attracted lakhs of views, close to 10 thousand likes and a flood of comments on the internet.
