'He's Doing Well': Salman Khan's Battle Of Galwan Co-Star Chitrangda Singh Shares Salim Khan’s Health Update
Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, was rushed to the hospital on February 17. He is currently admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The news of his hospitalisation has left fans and the film fraternity worried. Javed Akhtar, Sangeeta Bijlani, Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Rahul Roy and other celebs were seen paying a visit to Salim ji in the hospital recently. According to the doctor who is treating him, Salim Khan suffered a minimal brain haemorrhage and underwent a medical procedure on Wednesday morning, February 18. Everyone has been praying for Salim Khan’s speedy recovery. Chitrangda Singh, who is working with Salman Khan in Battle of Galwan, recently spoke about Salim Khan and shared an update on his health.

The actress had recently stepped out in the city to attend an event. During her appearance, Chitrangda spoke to IANS and shared an update on the legendary writer. She told the agency, “He’s doing very well. I wish him all the best and good health."
Hospital shares update on Salim Khan’s health
On February 18, Dr Jalil Parkar, who is treating Salim Khan, spoke about his health. While addressing the media outside the hospital, he said, “There was a minimal brain haemorrhage. A procedure called DSA was done this morning. No surgery was required. He is still on a ventilator. Hopefully, by tomorrow, he will be off the ventilator. Keeping in mind the age, the time of recovery is longer. He’s fine, he’s stable… All in all, he’s doing quite well."
He also clarified why Salim Ji was put on ventilator. Dr Parkar shared, “After initial diagnosis and medication, we realised he needed ICU care. We put him on the ventilator because we wanted to do certain investigations. He was put on the ventilator as a safeguard so that he doesn’t worsen." He also clarified that Salim Khan’s condition was never as ‘critical’ as it is being reported.
Reportedly, Salim Khan was taken to the hospital early in the morning, at around 8:30 am on February 17. He was brought to the emergency department by the family’s doctor, Dr Sandeep Chopra.
