Haryana HTET 2026 Registration Begins At Bseh.org.in; How To Apply?
The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has opened the online application process for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026. The registration began on December 24, and interested candidates can apply through the official portal htet.eapplynow.com.
HTET is a mandatory qualifying examination for candidates seeking teaching jobs in government and government-aided schools in Haryana at the PRT, TGT and PGT levels. Once qualified, the HTET certificate remains valid for a lifetime.
The HTET exam is conducted at three levels. Level 1 is for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5, Level 2 for Classes 6 to 8, and Level 3 for Classes 9 to 12. Applicants can choose one or more levels based on their eligibility.
The HTET 2026 examination will be held in offline mode using OMR sheets. The paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks, to be attempted within two hours and thirty minutes. There will be no negative marking.

The question paper will include sections on Child Development and Pedagogy, Hindi, English, and General Studies, which covers Haryana general knowledge, reasoning, mathematics, science and social studies. Candidates appearing for Level 2 and Level 3 will also have a subject-specific section.
