Harley-Davidson To Launch Entry-level Motorcycle Globally, Launch Set For 2026
The American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson is poised to expand its product range globally. The company has confirmed bringing an entry-level model with the nameplate Sprint.
The news about the same has been confirmed by the company's CEO Jochen Zeitz. He made this statement during the recent earnings call. He also revealed the plan of bringing another entry-level cruiser model to the global fleet.
The upcoming offering is likely to hit the market somewhere in 2026 and is expected to cost under 6,000 dollars. Talking about the Sprint, Zeitz said the model has been under process since 2021, and now it is all set to hit the market soon.
Initially, the model will be sold in the United States, and later will reach other parts of the world. It will feature the company's signature style statement, flaunting an aggressive road presence with bold styling cues. It will be a small displacement model, which will churn out decent power.
Expressing the views about the motorcyle, Zeitz said, " It is inspired by our heritage and the spirit of the iconic Harley Davidson Sprint motorcycle. This new bike embodies boldness, irreverence and fun, capturing the rebellious energy that defines the Harley-Davidson experience. It is scheduled for release in 2026 and for presentation to our global dealer network in October."
In addition, he said, " We believe this motorcycle will not only be highly accessible, but also profitable, marking a significant step forward in driving Harley-Davidson's future profitable growth and opening up a new path in the motorcycle segment for the company in future years for its key markets."
