In Gurugram, a woman biker experienced a disturbing incident during a ride when she alleged harassment by a man inside an e-rickshaw. According to her, he made sexually explicit gestures. The encounter, captured on her bike-mounted camera, later surfaced online, sparking widespread outrage and discussion.
The footage was shared by the woman on Instagram. The clip drew attention not only for what it showed but also for the woman's quick and composed response in real time.
Woman Biker Harassed By Man In E-Rickshaw
The clip begins with her riding her motorcycle through city traffic when an e-rickshaw passes by with a man sitting inside. He is seen making sexually explicit gestures at her.
The woman then stops the e-rickshaw and confronts the man directly.
As shown in the video, she questions the man firmly about his behaviour. She is heard saying, “Ek second jana nahi, police ko phone karungi abhi. Kya kara tune? Aise kya kara tha tune? Video record ho raha hai (Don't go anywhere for a second, I will call the police right now. What did you do? What kind of behaviour was that? The video is being recorded)."
Moments later, during the heated exchange, she slaps and even abuses the man while continuing to question him about his actions. The situation escalates further when the man attempts to flee. The video shows him trying to move away, but she holds onto him and asks him to get down from the e-rickshaw. She repeatedly warns him not to run.
As the argument continues, bystanders begin to gather around the spot. During this time, the man is heard apologising. He says, “Galti se ho gaya (It happened by mistake)."
The woman immediately responds, “Galti se hota hai ye sab? (Does this kind of behaviour happen by mistake?)"
Along with the clip, she shared a caption that read, “Sarkar ke bharose mat rehna ladki ho apni ldai apne aap hi ladna (Don't rely only on the government. If you are a woman, you have to fight your own battles yourself)."

Passerby Intervenes
The woman later uploaded another video on Instagram showing a passerby stepping in and asking what had happened. In this clip, both the woman and the man explain their versions of the incident.
The passerby is heard saying, “Toh camera mein record hua hoga na (So it must have been recorded on camera, right?)."
She responds, “Esme sab record hua hai, police ko dikhaungi mai (Everything is recorded here. I will show it to the police)."
