While the company has not shared any official plans, the latest insights circulating online have drawn attention from buyers who follow Pixel launch cycles closely. If the timeline proves to be correct, the Google Pixel 10a will launch only weeks after earlier models, keeping Google's release pace on track.
According to recent reports, the Google Pixel 10a will ship with two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. The device may also be available in four colour options: Obsidian, Berry, Fog, and Lavender. These details point to a familiar release strategy, where Google offers limited but clear options rather than a wide range of variants.

The Google Pixel 10a is expected to focus on users who want access to Google's software features without choosing higher-priced Pixel devices. Leaks suggest the device will follow the design and feature path set by earlier A-series models, which have often shared key elements with their mainline counterparts.
Earlier information shared via GSMArena claims that the Google Pixel 10a will feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. If accurate, this setup would match what many users now expect from phones in this category. According to the same report, the device is also expected to include a 48MP main rear sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

These camera details suggest Google may continue to rely on software processing rather than large changes in hardware. This approach has been common across previous Pixel releases.
Furthermore, the same leaks suggest that the Google Pixel 10a will ship with 8GB of RAM, paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It is likely to house a 5,100mAh battery, which places it slightly above many phones in the same segment in terms of capacity.

There is still uncertainty around the processor. Recent leaks suggest Google may use the Tensor G4 chip in the Pixel 10a. Earlier rumours had pointed to a version of the Tensor G5, similar to the one used in the Pixel 10, but with reduced performance. Newer reports now favour the Tensor G4, though Google has not confirmed either option.

To put this in context, the current listings for the Google Pixel 9a give us an idea of where the Pixel 10a might be positioned in terms of price. The Google Pixel 9a is priced at $329.9 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 256GB model is listed at $449.99 and Rs. 39,100 in India.
