Gaurav Khanna's Wife Akanksha Chamola Is Not Planning A Baby: 'Future Mein Bhi Difficult Hai'

Weeks after an astrologer told Gaurav Khanna in Bigg Boss 19 that he might become a father soon, the actor's wife, Akanksha Chamola, has now clarified that she is not planning a baby. Akanksha, who recently entered Salman Khan's show during the family week, was speaking to Malti Chahar and Pranit More when she clearly stated that she does not want a baby. She explained that being a mother is a big responsibility and something she does not think she'll be able to handle.

“I am not planning in my head. Abhi tak toh waisa inclination nahi aaya hai, future mein bhi mujhe bahot difficult lag raha hai because I don't know for some reason woh mere andar se nahi aaraha hai. I feel no reason to have a kid, mere bahot saare reasons hai. And mujhe aisa lagta hai jab aap itne reasons dhoondte ho, then you are not ready," Akanksha said, as quoted by ETimes. “Jisko karna hota hai na, woh ye sab reasons nahi sochta," she added.

When Malti asked if she is scared of having a baby, Akanksha explained, “I am not scared of it, I don't think I can be that responsible. It is not so easy to have a child and raise it. It is a huge responsibility. I don't think I can do justice to the job or duty of raising a child. At this age or at any point. I have to make my career and I have several other ambition. Ab log usko selfish bole yaa joh bhi bole."

When Gaurav Khanna Talked About Wanting A Child

In one of the previous episodes of Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav Khanna was seen opening up to Mridul in a heartfelt conversation about starting a family. When asked if he wanted children, Gaurav admitted that he does, but revealed his wife feels differently. Gaurav explained, “A child is a big responsibility. I work all day, and if my wife also takes up a job, it wouldn't feel right to leave the child in someone else's care." Listening to him, Mridul responded, “Let's see, maybe after two or three years," to which Gaurav nodded in agreement.

Gaurav And Akanksha's Love Story

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola's love story is nothing short of a fairytale. The two first met during an audition, and for Gaurav, it was love at first sight. After dating for some time, the couple tied the knot on November 24, 2016, in Gaurav's hometown, Kanpur. Many popular TV stars attended their wedding, including Puja Banerjee, Anuj Sachdeva, and others. It has been almost a decade since the two tied the knot. The couple has a huge age gap of 9 years.
