"null"A nail-biting incident captured on CCTV shows a young girl displaying remarkable courage as she rescued two children who were about to get trapped in a lift. Her quick thinking helped prevent a potentially dangerous situation.
However, the episode also raised concerns about lift safety, with many viewers noting that the doors failed to reopen after detecting an obstruction.
Girl Rescues Little Kids From Getting Trapped Inside The Lift
The video shows two young girls standing inside the lift while an older child stands outside, talking to them. Suddenly, the doors begin to close, and the older girl, slightly bigger in age, quickly places herself between them to stop the gates. Normally, lift doors reopen when they detect an obstruction, but that did not happen in this case.
She used all her strength to stop the doors from shutting, as the children were too young to safely exit on the next floor.
Soon, other residents noticed the situation, and two women rushed to help her open the gate. When the doors still wouldn’t reopen, they forced them apart using their hands and feet and managed to pull the children out safely. Once both kids were out, the doors finally closed.

What Are People Saying Online
The post drew mixed reactions online, with one user asking, “That’s a weird elevator door. Aren’t they supposed to reopen when they detect an obstruction?"
Another commented, “The lift manufacturer should be held accountable for a faulty system — the door should have opened once it sensed an obstruction."
Some felt it was also a matter of parental oversight, with one individual pointing out, “It’s definitely elevators fault, but also negligence of parents. Those kids shouldn’t be in the lift without parents or guardians."
“Incredible bravery, but this also shows how important proper elevator maintenance is," a person pointed out.
“She is undoubtedly brave, but it was an extremely risky move. If the lift had malfunctioned, putting her legs in between could have cost her life. The two children inside were comparatively safer and could have disembarked once the lift reached its designated floor," someone else added.
Some viewers called for accountability. A viewer demanded, “Please file a case against the people who are issuing safe use certificates for these lifts," while an individual wrote, “The faulty lifts have become a common issue. Accountability must be fixed."
At the same time, many praised the girl as a hero. “She is an absolute fearless lioness," “Such a little hero," “Brave but could have been life-threatening dangerous!" and “At such a young age, she already has superhero instincts" were some remarks.
While the girl’s quick thinking prevented a possible accident, the incident highlights the importance of proper lift maintenance and safety. It also underscores that children should not use lifts without adult supervision.
